In A Padded Cell
Hi all.
Yikes, I guess I'd better go get updated some, I stack batts. I've had a few of the lifepo's blow out the bottom but its like this little disc seperates from the battery, when I see that or evidence of the plastic wearing or breaking I toss them. I have some tenergy's too, maybe I don't want to use them anymore?

I see I missed the group, I linger for a bit while I am waiting for dinner to finish cooking and the family who is expecting to eat it to finally get back home.

Amy, I used to have a real estate license (yup, did that too). And times like these, lower price is what sells. Don't do too much to the house, not a good time to recoup remodeling costs.

My cousin in LA is a long time agent. He just sold my aunt's condo there, same advice...don't spend more money on it. After a month, they dropped the price on the condo and sold it. There were dozens of units in the same complex that are still sitting.

Just my 2 cents. :)

This a mobile home (double wide). It's a nice one and in good shape but still got some age to it. The problem is it is in a park and there is about ten up for sale. We are going to drop the price like crazy. If it don't go soon, we'll donate the darn thing to just get rid of it because it's costing $500 a month in lot rent. :(

Yup, not worth keeping it at a certain point. There's also maintenance. You can divide the price by $6,000 rent a year and see how long 'til break even. :(

People are herd animals as Jerry mentioned. Back in 2005, they would buy anything. Now, you can't give them away. Prices lost touch with reality back then. :glare:

Hate to say it, but it was a Ponzi scheme, musical chairs. People bought into the idea that they could always refinance or sell the house as the prices go up, like prices will never fall.

I've learned that when everyone is doing the same thing, go other direction. I was selling my house when everyone was buying.
