How did work go today Fudgey? Short and sweet, I hope!
That's too far inland for me Fudge, I grew up and still live 40 miles from the ocean and 200 miles from the mountains.Oklahoma![]()
How about climbing Mt. Washington on the Cog Railway?Mountains are great as long as I don't have to climb them!
Neither..............................
That would be cool. Daughter knows some people that have a condo by the beach in N. C. and they let her use the place. Me, her, and a couple other female friends escaped hubby's and went one weekend.

I have been on it several times, Jan. It was built in 1849 and the last accident was in 1968, so it's very safe.Nah. Just tell me what's like. I like living vicariously.![]()

It's cool, a very nice ride to the top of Mt. Washington. I love it when it goes around the side of the mountain, look right and you see ground, look left and it's a long way down. LOL. There are markers all along the mountain, in remembrance of those who tried to climb it and failed. It's not that it's difficult to climb, it's that the weather can change quickly and climbers have been caught up in deadly storms. Many do it, successfully, though.I have been on it several times, Jan. It was built in 1849 and the last accident was in 1968, so it's very safe.
Those train tours are just my kind of thing. Sit on my .... and watch the scenery!![]()

Back. A block and a half to Rite Aid. Got the eye drops but they didn't have picture hanging stuff. So, on the way back, a 3/4 block detour to the 24-hour hardware store. Picked up a Powerball ticket on the way home and here I am.Hi Jane and I agree, there are limits. LOL Hope to see you later, young lady.![]()
Even when I was in the Army, I found myself on the coast. I have never been inland, flown over it, but except for a brief stop in Chicago, that's been it.I like to visit both, especially the ocean. Always glad to come home to landlocked though.![]()
