That Blizzard of 78 shut everything down. Nobody could even drive. I think the police were driving hospital workers to work around here.

It depends Jerry. The winters haven't been too bad here lately. Maybe 6 inches at a time. Used to be a foot or more. But in 96 we got about 3 feet, then it froze and we got another foot or so and a bunch of buildings collapsed. I worked New Years day driving my forklift into a warehouse that the roof collapsed on to try to salvage as much sauce and juice as we could.

He loves it so far but we only rode for about and hour. My .... was the one that was numb!!!
There was a sad story, from the town next to mine. A couple's young son was caught out in the blizzard and never made it home. There was a search party but they couldn't find him. When the snow melted in the spring, they found his body in his yard, just a short way from his house. That must have been horrible for the parents.
Get some padding for your seat Norie. Check J.C.Whitney, they have all kinds of accessories.
What a horrible thing for those parents. I did hear of some people freezing to death and they couldn't find them until the snow thawed. They were adults though. It was such a quick heavy blizzard people got disoriented.
That's terrible Jerry. I can't imagine! Usually we don't get blizzards as such. A lot of wet snow but some that is 'dry' too. I like that. It cleans off with a broom pretty easily. We have a lot of people here that can't figure out how to drive in it cause they are all from the southern part of the states.
I've thought of having a gel pad put in my seat. But I love the looks of my seat. I'm not sure if it would help Jerry. I've never been able to sit still for long without repositioning.
Down Cape Cod here they rarely get a lot of snow except a bad storm once in a while. The big storms practically close the towns down. People don't know how to drive in the snow that good.
Yup, you can always tell the snow rookies. They are the ones spinning around, getting stuck in snow banks etc.
