The HR would probably work great at 5V or higher. I think the ego is straight 3.7 volts though. It will run a bit hotter on the ego than on a stock battery, but not a much.

I heard on the thread today - somewhere - that they killed two ego bats - wonder if that is true or not?
I knpw that the LR are suposed to work really well.....
