It's sunny here, but windy. I might go for a bike ride today, if the wind isn't too strong. Next vacation, you guys should go to New Hampshire, there is plenty to see and do there.

I went to NH once on the Columbus Day weekend, to see the foliage. It was a big disappointment, it was cold and rainy the whole weekend and the traffic coming back home was murder.
I was in Kentucky in late October early November once. The fall colors were just leaving but it was still gorgeous!! Bruce has no desire to go back east. I would love to see the New England states. But I would like to drive back!
You had bad luck that weekend! And traffic is horrible on Columbus Day.
On a sunny fall day though the foliage is spectacular in New Hampshire especially along the Kancamagus Highway and the White Mountains. I hiked up part of the White Mountains in the fall and the view of the foliage was indescribable.

My friend who moved to So Cal, said that it took him four days, to make the trip from here to there, but I believe that was 24 hour driving. If I ever go west again, I would like to go by train, I think that would be a nice trip and I'm a big fan of trains.
I just checked and it would take me less than 48 hours to drive all the way across the country!!! Who needs sleep!!! LMAO!!

Yup Mary, the Kancamagus Highway is really nice. I like the White Mountains, but I also like the area around Lake Winnipesaukee. Went for a ride around the lake in the MV Mount Washington. I haven't been up there in quite a few years, I wonder if they still have the boat rides around the lake.
