That's still scary!!

Yeah, it was. There were boats a couple of hundred yards off shore looking for them. When one was spotted they called it in and the lifeguards told us to get out of the water. We didn't panic, but we didn't take our time either, we got out of the water fast, but in an orderly fashion. It's just one of the hazards of swimming in the ocean.
