Awesome. I am holding out until I get a refillable VISA gift card before I do any more shopping. There are over a million infected web sites out there and its gettin so it ain't safe to shop with your regular card.

We do have to be careful, Ralph. I keep my anti-virus up to date and always running in the background. I do a manual scan once a week and I have "Web of Trust" installed on my computer. So far, so good.

Mine got swiped the day after I ordered my ego!!! Thank goodness the credit card company called me. i only use that card for internet purchases. They started low and charged 2.45 then 14.00 at a doctors office...go figure. Grand total was almost 700 hundred.

Yea but then Fred and Barney wants to move in!! LOL

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

It's a very good thing, Fudgey. :)

Good moves all, my friend. A lot of folks having their cards abused after shopping at a vendor site. Its the sites that are hacked. Heck. Godaddy got hacked about 2 days ago and many of the sites they hosted got infected. :(

I don't store my card info on sites either. It's worth the effort to type the info in, everytime I use it.

I think it was the vendor site, all the purchases were made in one town and on one day. CC company shut them down real quick. I already have my new card too. Anti virus is up to date and is set up to scan everynight, started doing that when the kids were trying to download music and stuff.

I don't either. I am going to figure out what I am going to order from two sites and then "fill" a VISA gift card a little past that and then use it that way. Safest way to go. More hassle for sure, but safer. I think they are pretty easy to recharge.
