I wondered about that since you had the drought. I'd read somewhere that if the leaves stay on the trees long enough that the colors can be better. but obviously if they're all falling off.....

yesterdays and today's rain is the first I've had in a month or so. it's also the first break in the 90 degree heat. I'm not sure whether I'm happy about the cooler weather though...

I sure like hot weather too. Staying in the 80s or 90s year round would work for me. Course all we talk about her is the weather so I have no idea what New Englanders would talk about if we didn't have the changing seasons.

Morning Zelda The only thing I don't like about the festivities is how crowded it gets. They close the downtown areas and at night you can barely walk a step w/o running into someone.

Hi Mary, it was very slow on the thread last night, so I just quietly slipped away. I'm spending too much time on the forum and not enough time in the RW. I need to cut down on my forum time and last night seemed like a perfect opportunity to do that.
