Lookout boxes ??? I have never seen one of those, Mary.

They're on top of some of the mountains. They're just a little wooden structure with a high ladder you cilmb up to get to it so you can see all over the mountains. I think they might have built them to check for fires once.

Hi Jerry been busy today huh? It would be nice to be over there to see the fall colors.

Yup, my new sump pumps for the basement came in today, I have to get them set up. I got 9 inches of water in there, last April, in the 50 years I have been here, I have never seen so much water in my basement, a few inches was max.

I don't think there's going to be much foliage this year, already the leaves are turning and dropping off of the trees. Plus there are millions of acorns everywhere and I mean millions, all over the place.

Aren't there tons!! When I went to the cemetery for my uncle's funeral the ground was coated with them. I've never seen so many acorns fall at once.

Ok, I know what you are talking about now, Mary. I have been on a part of the Appalachian Trail up there, but the only mountain that I went to the top of was Mt. Washington and I took the Cog Railway to get up there.

Hi Ralph...........

That's a bit to much water. Glad you got your pumps before you get to much rain.
