I didn't know other people called them butterfly bushes too lol. We called it that because..well..it always had butterflies all over it. Big duuhh on my part
We ended up getting on of those metal support sticks for ours when it broke in half. Mended nicely.
uba - no saving this one - the whole thing snapped right from the ground - I have half a bush in front of my house - woe is me! -
“buddleia” - ya, especially this one - its about 6 years old - deep scarlet red - ive been babying it for ever - mulching it, talking to it.....waaa... sniff sniff

The winds must be bad there. We've had a few branches fall here because of the wind (no rain yet) but nothing much yet.

I'm in Massachusetts so I think the storm should be here late tonight, Pretty windy now. Lots of old trees around here so heavywinds and rain are usually bad news.
