Yeah, a few grocery stores were built here a couple of years ago. Before that, we had to grow and hunt for all of our food !!!

Truthfully, I don't eat much fruit, I drink fruit juice. Most varieties of apples taste the same to me.

OK, the morning report is in. The Apple Toffee French Toast is awesome. Very nice texture and flavor. As My Fudgey mentioned the syrup is great and could be used in place of any other breakfast syrup.
I made one classic error, I forgot to grease the pan... The first step. :dumbass: The crispies on the bottom would have added a nice texture to it, but they are stuck there, on the bottom of the pan.
I made two adjustments to mine. Used soy milk instead of regular, and I left the foil on for the first half of the baking, to prevent over crisping the top.
Goes great with a hot cup of coffee, or a tall glass of ice cold milk (which we don't do anymore).
Norie, be sure and thank Tom. Just don't mention ECF.... Keep the private life private.

No, sure didn't. Messed around the house, and watched the kids play all weekend. I'll get out in the woods soon enough though. Can't wait to much longer . Those mud puddles get chilly in the fall.
