He came home. Only his left arm is weak so time will tell if he gets his strength back. Probably not.

At least it wasn't like my uncle. That was tragic.

It was tragic. Would have been more so if he had lived a lot longer like that. I'm a realist when it comes to those things. Just too hard on everybody!

And yes, it's just after 8 here. Don't worry about me tonight if you are tired. Bruce stayed home today with a little touch of something..........flu maybe.

Oh I'm sorry Bruce doesn't feel good. My mom is ok sometimes she doesn't quite understand the whole situation. And sometimes she blocks it out.

And you're right the best outcome for my uncle was dying. I think he decided enough was enough and just slipped away. He couldn't even breathe so they had to do a trach operation on his throat (the hole in the throat).

I think my dad gave up and missed my mom so much that's why he drank so much the last 4 years. And he really drank a bunch!! It was sad to see. But once you lose the will......................

It's sad but I would never judge how someone copes with life. Sometimes it's the only way someone can make it through a day.

I tried everything!! The tears, the cajoling, the begging, the anger..............the year before I had to put him in assisted living he got a dui. That helped because he was starting to get confused a lot and I told him that he couldn't drive or he would get in trouble. My sister-in-law moved in w/ him so he couldn't drink. But it was too late. His brain was already starting to turn to mush. I tried to get him to go out and enjoy himself cause he took care of mom so many years but I think he felt guilty.

No matter what anyone says nothing works once someone gets addicted to alcohol or drugs. I went through this for many years with my sister. She had a gigantic drug problem on top off all her medical and mental problems. Nothing worked. And her brain deteriorated too. I couldn't save her. In the end I felt guilty for the yelling and threats and all the rest - it never helped one bit.

Early afternoon here, Morning to you Norie

Hi Jerry! You watched the right half of the game . Great job for the special teams.

Hey Nora I practiced all night on 5 " heels and only fell 5 times. I think I sprained my ankle. :( Practice makes perfect!! :)

It was good to see you last night Nico.
