Everybody was pretty dang funny tonight!! Course I was on here for about 3 hours at work. One of these days they are gonna put a block on this site.

I can stay up a little longer. All I really have to do tomorrow is mow the grass and some housework.
You don't have a long weekend there. Most people do here. It's a big weekend for going away.
I have so much housework to do it's not even funny. And I can pretty much guarantee that most will not get done.
I'm not sure but Bruce gets these Monday holidays sometimes. We get 2 days for Memorial and Labor day weekends instead. Makes it hard after New Year cause there isn't another holiday til Memorial weekend.
My house is over 100 years old and it's a constant battle with dust and cleaning. And when the heat's on its always dusty.
It is hard not to get a long weekend for you. This is big here because it's usually the last weekend with good weather before the winter begins next month.

That's okay. I have two weeks off over Christmas. And I only had to use 7 days of my vacation. What's funny is I forgot all about putting in for it. So it was a nice surprise! Merry Christmas to me! I used to take time off and do things around the house. Now it's overwhelming. He needs to weed out some of his stuff but I can never get him to do it. I need a room just for all of his garbage. And I still have stuff of my mom and dad's that I have no clue what to do with. I need to just start pitching stuff out!!
I'd love to see your house! I love old houses!! They have so much more character than the ones today. I especially love old farm houses. Bruce thinks I'm a nut but I love the country look. Am not into contemporary at all. Too cold and impersonal.
I wish this was an old farm house. It's just an old house!! but compared t onew houses it's pretty good. It's full of stuff. I especially have to start getting rod of some of my sister's stuff. When she died I started but never had the heart to finish it. She had tons of clothes(and papers). I keep thinking I'll do it but I never do!!!

My mom and dad had stuff in that house that was from when they bought it...........45 years before!! You don't think I had fun!!! Dad passed away less than a week after I had the yard sale to sell all of their stuff. I always feel like he knew somehow what I was doing.

I wouldn't feel bad. He might have known but I think sometimes people wait for certain events to happen to close out their lives. I'm sure he was all right with it and knew you were settling his life for him in a way. It's hard to look at things in hindsight and then figure you did something wrong. At the time it was the right thing to do.

He didn't know what was going on. I never told him. It just would have confused him anyway.
I guess I might have to call it a night. I wish I could stay up later!!!
