I watched one of those medical mystery shows and some poor girl did have some bug lays eggs in her head. She kept going to doctors and ERs and no one believed her for a while. They all thought she was crazy. After that show I stopped watching that series.

I bet you stopped playing with bugs too.

I'm the next to go.
Tomorrow might be the only day I can get out of town to get to the pool so it's up early.
Good night all.

Goodnight Jan. Sleep well and be safe in the pool. :)

Okay, lets not be ultra, incredibly revolting. The snails you eat are cleaned out better than beef or chicken. The live in clean flour for a week or two to clean out everything.

Woke up this morning to the sound of crunching. At the gap under the left-most cupboard, there was sawdust and stuff. It's a single cupboard on the left, then two doubles. The one on the right is flat against the floor. The others are a little raised because the floor isn't level.

Went shopping. When I got back I cleaned under the left and middle cupboard using a steel ruler. It's the only thing that fits and even that wouldn't fit under the right-hand one. Billy & Charlie had only been under the left one. There was plenty of dirt and paper (including a several-year-old-unopened credit card bill.) Broke up two blocks of mouse poison and shoved it under using the ruler (which I must remember to wash.) Then I unrolled some steel wool and shoved that under. I then spackled it closed, put all the clothes in the hamper, showered and made sure I was 1,000% poison-free before re-entering living room.

Home Repair Tip: If you pull on a piece of steel wool, it will not break. It will bite into your finger.

First Aid Tip #1: If you cut your finger with steel wool, it will bleed. A lot.

First Aid Tip #2: Band-aids do not stick to blood and water. If, however, you add a lot of spackle, the bleeding will stop and the band-aid will stay on.

The adventures of Poeia continue. :) I just love your posts dear. They always bring a smile. I am sorry the mice continue to occupy you, although it does make for some good tails.... er.... tales. I think you will win!

And my new Chuck made it to Bethpage, Long Island this evening. That means it will definitely be here tomorrow. (Because I spent so much time dithering, the batteries will probably arrive Wednesday, but I can spend two days just looking at the beautifulness.)

That is awesome news. Can you give us a link from the Pron thread and show us which one you've got coming?

Jane, I am sorry but I laughed so hard I cried! I just love the way you tell your stories!! I, too, feel for you as you continue on this dang mouse journey of yours. But as Ralph stated, we have all gotten so much entertainment value out of your 'tails' that I almost dread the day you triumph over.....um.....'Billie' and 'Charlie'!

Love ya girl!!

Goodnight to you and goodnight to you too Ralph dear. I love you too!

It's not in the Pron. It has it's own thread.

Even though I shouldn't waste money on this, I wanted to buy a steampunk one for my birthday (in October.) So I wrote Jeff with some pictures of steampunk USBs and said that was the look that I associated with steampunk (rather than gears) and would a wrap of that look silly -- in which case I had other possibilities. He replied "Sssshhhh. I'm working on something."

The something took a lot longer than expected, but you can't rush art. It's not a wrap, it's a real steampunk chuck -- with a roll bar to protect the button.
