Yes, and the bogus virus warnings that are for threats from 5 years ago. I have to debunk a lot of those for clients. Bottom line, if it says forward to everyone you know, its crap, delete it!

that's what i do , I am a very careful guy dealing with computers , i read every windows before trying to close it and if it is not familiar i close it using task manager
Yes. I hate those too. gmail and yahoo seem to be pretty good at filtering most of those out for me.
Smart move. Alt-F4 works good for that too. It closes the window that has "focus"
