Thanks to modders now I'm a cold hard thing. A bonus side effect from knowing them -they toughen you up.
Today was 60 degrees and we still have over a foot of snow on the ground.

it takes forever for it to melt. snow is amazingly good at insulating itself once it's packed a bit.

Every death is such a loss but it's difficult when it's someone from your own generation. At least half my close high school friends died and I still remember how we always figured to grow old together.
I don't recall him saying goodnight, but I got majorly distracted.
