Yep I have brisket that I saved and I have a crock full of sauerkraut.

My daughter is doing fine she is at the tent city they put up and is basically just waiting on people. They are bringing in TONS of supplies, the whole world is helping. It almost makes my cynical old self believe in the goodness of people.

I'm part Irish, well I'm part just about everything. I'm proud to be an American Mutt.

Peace and love.

Great news Brad!! It does chip away at the cynicism doesn't it to see the kindness of so many people.

Here we have grey corned beef which is really good.

I'm part Irish too with a mix of other nationalities. But on St Patrick's day everyone is Irish or wants to be.

My wife is Irish by osmosis. Does that count??

Thank goodness....LOL

1 hour 20 min....but who's counting

NOT YOU!

My remote system on my car is working!!!
It's a Crime Stoppers and it stopped so we sent the control box in to have it fixed.
Well son finally got it back into the car, and it didn't work. I was really ticked.
Emailed then and then emailed them again today because I didn't get a response.
So I go over to a friends. I thought I left the drivers side unlocked. When I got back to it, it was locked. I used the key thinking maybe I locked it without thinking about it.
Got into the car and put the key in and tried to start it----nothing. Tried again----nothing. I'm thinking, oh boy. Just out of desperation, I picked up the remote and hit the button and I heard a click. I couldn't believe it!!!
Drove it home and got out and unlocked, locked it, then unlocked it again with the remote. Then I stood there and waited for it to lock itself. IT DID.
I'm so happy I could do cartwheels!!!

Haven't tried the remote start yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)
