Did you get to ride your bike much this summer?

Not as much as I would have liked Renee. We had construction around here from February until the end of July and it was such a mess I didn't want to ride in it. And it seems that riding weather is over for the year unless I get an odd day or two.

I like the "Sin Bin" and the temporary banning from certain threads. In the past, too many were "moved on", too quickly. Give them a chance to cool down and when they come back, if they still want to cause problems, then ban them.

ECF has changed, since Rolygate took over, I'm not sure if the new freedoms are good or bad, time will tell. Back when I was a noob, the Admin and mods would have been swarming to that thread.

ETA: Norrie, the problem was the "many against one" element of the exchange in the Hoors thread. He attacked members and called them names (as a group, not singling anyone out.) No one attacked him in return. They just ignored him and behave the way he accused people of behaving. The problem was the number of other posters involved.

I read part of that thread last night....and as I said, I feel rather sorry for the OP. I don't necessarily think he was talking about this thread and a few others. I think he meant the ones that actually had to do with e-cigs. And even if he didn't mean that, I don't think it was nice to blast him like that. Just my opinion but........

I did see some meanspirited posts directed at him. I felt sorry for him at getting so ganged up on.
I might not agree with what someone is saying but I'll respect his right to express his opinion.

Ironically he proved his point though. His thread got hijacked by a lot of chitchat.

Sorry to be MIA. Another one of my longtime friends died suddenly. He was the healthiest one of all my friends ironically. Never smoked didn't drink very athletic.

So I have a wake and funeral this week. Seems the last couple years every few months I'm doing this. It's hard to me to say that final goodbye.

Okay end of sad story. Now post some pictures to cheer me up. Not too XXX though - don't want anyone to get in trouble!!!
