I tried Boardwald Empire and despite Buscemi, it didn't trip my trigger for some reason - maybe not the best episode - I've had that happen before on Seinfeld and House.... then liked them both later....

So far I'm liking Homeland (HBO series) with Claire Danes.

There was a time I quit watching it for years but other programming has gotten so bad, it's pretty good now Still sucks as a CSI. Only Las Vegas has kept some of the focus on science - Miami is just another cop show.
