Tore apart my family room and gave it a good cleaning.
And that was really exciting.

And you---and no matter what you say, it had to be more exciting!!!

Yeah.......sure......sitting at a desk all day is real exciting  At least you got some exercise!!

That's exactly what I did in Guam, with a 5K gas gen. A cord with two male plugs. One for the dryer and one for the generator. Turn all breakers off, including main, connect cable, turn on generator, flip on dryer breaker and then turn on the breaker for what you need. Wouldn't run the AC though. :(

I just caught up with this thread is all. Hi Renee.:wub:

Hi Ralph

Exactly the plan Ralph. Worked well.... And no - no AC - actually 5KW could probably handle it when it was running but it wouldn't get past that starting surge. Even on the whole house one, I'll see a dimming of lights when the AC comes on. That's the biggest initial drain, even more than the heat and the oven....

Hi Jan, Lis, Jane....

Well Fudgey it might make winter go faster!!!

I can't believe that in about three weeks, I'll be putting up the Xmas tree!

I know!!! Kind of scary knowing it's right around the corner

Something changing at work Renee?

I got real busy, and I am not sure when it's going to stop. Feast or famine in my job. I guess I had better enjoy the meal.... sigh.

No not yet......year end and year beginning stuff.

Now Ralph you must just be getting a good reputation and a lot more work is coming your way.
Next thing you know, you'll have to hire an employee!!!

I wish it was that big of a problem. Just two clients sucking all my time away from the others. One of those cant afford any down time during the day and has employees that stay late a lot, so its hard to find down time. Lots of nights and weekends.
