How kind and thoughtful of him... Maybe you should just cook for yourself and remind him that this is how it was while he was gone, and you have decided you like it better that way.

The last one we felt (ohio) which was in Maryland, iirc, my cat looked up just before I felt anything. A rare occurance in the Toledo area but I've felt them about 4 times here over the decades. Was in a 7.2 one in LA - no damage where I was at but a collapse highway spiral on ramp fell. Many other minor ones there in 5 years....

Well, if there is anything he can cook well, that is easy and doesn't generate a huge mess, suggest that it's his turn to make that for dinner.
We do one big meal and that is dinner. He does the grill tonight and I do the inside stuff.
Grilling is the best I can get him to do. Well except throwing a frozen pizza in the oven!!!

It sounds like you two have it all worked out.
Does/did he pretend to not be able to do things, (make a bed, fold towels... change diapers)? 
I wash the clothes and anything I don't hang, he folds.
He tried the diaper thing diapers years ago!!!
Now if only son would get into the self sufficient mode.

Well, it sounds like you have him house trained pretty good at this point. ...... Only took ? years.

My backyard is so ugly now!!!! Spent a beautiful day working 
I am so sore I will have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, not used to all that physical labor anymore

I am hoping that he will move the fence back to where it is now when they are done. Then I can get a smaller pool and put it in the sun. Maybe one of those where the top inflates, easy to put up and take down. If it wasn't for having the nieces dogs we probably wouldn't move it and just take it down then put it back when they are done.

My daughter has a fish pond. I will warn you, they can be a lot of work.
A smaller pool would be nice but I'd hate having to fill the darn thing every year....especially here, water rates are awful.
Did the kids come help and did they take it?

No kids.....just DH and I. We figured it was better that way, when we ask the son to help with something he has to bring the wife and our granddaughter. Love to see the granddaughter but we didn't need them in the way either.
None of the kids have room for it. Might ask the oldest that lives in AR if he want's it.

Well you can always try to sell it. You might get a pretty penny if the liner and the top rails are still in decent shape.
