I'm up. I don't want to be (and, if I eat all that, Ralph, I'll fall asleep again.)

Going to Dad's to hook up his new computer speakers. When we first ordered them he said maybe he could do it himself. Technically, of course he can but if he get's on the floor to get behind the CPU, he's staying there.

Last night he said that while I'm there, maybe we can try to figure out a new desk arrangement. It's going to be a challenge. He's become a bit of a hoarder so there's not much room to move stuff around in. But I've packed up my new label maker :) and a few other things that might help.

Labels on wires made the new receiver changeover such a breeze....

Home from the sauna. I have a hard time keeping my apartment below 80º, winter or summer. With a fan, it's tolerable. I think his place is about 88º.

Turns out I'm not a very neat label-stick-er-on-er, but they work. Every cord including the two lamps that goes into his surge protector is labeled as are the ones that go between things. By taking it all apart and putting it back together more efficiently, there are no longer any cables stretched to the limit. Each time anything gets moved, it's like creating a braid of wires. The only thing to do is take it apart once in a while. And the speakers we bought him for Hanukkah sound nice.
