I lost the forum late this morning, with the infamous 503 message. I checked the 503 thread on the All About, to see if anyone had posted there, but not a one. It wouldn't have made much difference though, since I'm not a member there anymore.

My favorite peanut butter has an ingredient list of: peanuts.

With those types, the oil separates and comes to the top. You have to stir it well and then refrigerate it -- not because it will go bad but because it will separate again if you keep it at room temperature.

I've had that and liked it. ...and refrigerated it too. Jif is second choice - used to be lowest in carbs as the main brands but don't know now... the 'smooth' is good, imo.

I did Atkins diet in LA way back when and peanut butter on celery was a favorite 'snack' - I still do it.... the type of celery makes a difference too - lighter the better - less chlorophyll...
