He has a neck injury and travel just agitates it. He can do short trips since the last surgery now.
The longest trip we go on is to N.C. to see daughter and family even though it hurts him

I know, you mentioned that it's uncomfortable. How about something on water? Of course you'd have to get to a port. My dumb solution is...move to NC. One time travel pain, and you're read for cruises and can see your daughter. Just saying...
