Can't stand red or green peppers or cucumbers - no melons or grapefruit. Most other vegetables flooded in butter.... All meat except Lamb has to be the right cut and prepared properly. Ribeye favorite cut for flavor. All seafood except oysters (although I had them prepared in a way that they weren't bad - once. Forget how though). No cake or anything dry dough like biscuits....

No watermelon........No biscuits......sheesh!!

Oh I love peppers and onions and just about all fruits.

I like peppers...they just don't like me :(

I'm sorry but that sounds like he takes her for walkies. (Good wifey. Go get your leash and we'll go walkies.)

:lol::lol:

Nothing can make Lima beans tolerable for me.

I don't care for them but there was a c ration in the service that when nothing else is available I was able to eat them. One fruit that wasn't a favorite but also in a c ration was pears and I learned to like them too. The juice helped hydrate.... No raspberrries or blueberries - I can eat good ripe blackberries though.

Kent, I don't know when you were in the service, but when I was in, in the late 60s, early 70s, there was an overabundance of lima beans and the gubmint bought it. We had lima beans with every meal, we even had lima bean soup. I like lima beans, but it got to the point where I skipped the mess hall and started eating at the PX and NCO club. lol

It was ham and lima beans and my least favorite - loved the chicken, roast beef - better than I ever thought they'd be. Peaches were great too. Not big on any bean soup and like chili with or without.... I don't like 'hot' spicey, but can tolerate jalepeno. Habenara too hot usually. It varies. For me it masks any flavor.

Maybe that's why I dont like them. We always had them in the chow hall. :( Chicken and Turkey A La King too. I can stand that either. For some reason they thought the knuckle cartilage belonged IN the food... GAG!

There are other uses for whipped cream......................

The strawberries are just for decoration. :drool:
