Times have changed and for the better, Jane. On weekends, I used to go motorcycle riding with a few friends. One of the bank's executive officers lived nearby and saw our little "gang" cruise by. The following Monday, I was called into the manager's office and I was told that 'bankers do not ride motorcycles'.When I was at a woman's service magazine (about 12 yrs ago), the publisher insisted that all reps wore suits every day (even casual Friday) in case they had to go on a call. Dark suits & ties for the men, business-type suits for the women. Lots of people tried to convince him that times had changed but he was adamant. Problem was that they were calling on 25-year-old media planners who already thought the mag was a magazine for dowdy old fuddy-duddy housewives. That policy did a great job of reinforcing that image.

Morning j0kers !!!!!
