Hi Y'all.

glad you're caught up Ralph! Hope you get to rest today.

Congrats on 98K Jerry!

Hope you had fun at the party Kent :)

Hi CES!

Had a pretty good time. Another longshoreman is vaping! Didn't know that. Party is always good - all the lake erie perch you can eat and 'entertainment' - ie. girls dancing.

Yes, Lis, suddenly is a good word, with romantic connotations. And Suddenly is a good person. :)

Kent, good thing the Lake Eerie perch hasn't been overrun by the Asian carp!

Yep - different situation here than where you're at - from our earlier discussion.... we did have some 'clam' problem at one point - zebra mussels - but it came from oversea boats from the St. Lawrence Seaway - not a problem anymore and in fact, they might be the reason why lake erie looks much better these days. It was already being cleaned up but at one time the Cuyahoga River - in Cleveland - caught on fire! (see: Chrissie Hynde's song (and Rush L. intro) "Ohio")

Know about those clams, saw on PBS. I thought they were still spreading. Boating folks here were made to scrub their boats before entering any waterway. Animals love to hitchhike!

River in Ohio burning? I'll go find that song.

You might find it under 'My City was Gone' but I think the original title was 'Ohio' - I checked the lyrics and the only reference was Cuyahoga Falls but I thought I've heard versions (perhaps 'live') where 'the river was on fire'.
