Ok, I missed this, I was bouncing back and forth, between the j0kers and TT's thread. Sorry to hear about your friends, Ralph, I hope they have a speedy recovery.

Our snow is melting and it's supposed to be in the 40s all week.

We had thunder storms last night.
Most of the snow is gone.

I'm sorry to hear of your friends. Maybe that's done a lot to your moods, not only seeing friends suffer but feeling the mortality of it. I had that experience seeing two of mine die of cancer.

I'm very sorry to hear that JAG. The older we get the faster our friends and family leave us it seems. I don't like. I can think of a few in this thread that are no stranger to loosing friends, and family.

What I would give for a good thunder storm..... Last year really fell short in the thunder and rain department here. I need some flickering lights and adrenaline provoking weather!

Oh, it's all right. These were slightly older friends and it happened 9 years ago. It did change my outlook a lot though. That's when I went for "voluntary simplicity", cut things back and tried to relax and get by with little, when I sold everything and 'retired' to Hawaii. But I'm back on the mainland now.



Don't mean to darken the mood here. There's a happy ending!
