About ah hour, but I ran a quick scan, only 15 minutes. I also copied a bunch of songs over to DW's puter to keep her busy while I bounce between threads.

I'm back.
When I got high speed and back online after years of absence, I went anti-everything as my ISP suggested...anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware, anti-cookies, etc. The scan I just ran was Malwarebytes. AVG is on all the time.
Good for you, but I'm not taking that chance. AVG has blocked things that "it" says were questionable, not that I believe what it says. I know it would be a pain if I ever get one.

i keep the thing i care about on external hd and i dont surf the web as a crazy one, i do my banking on a pc only dedicated to it and if at any time i have a problem on any puter it is easy for me to reformat
