Thanks for making me feel famished Ralph, just add some fried leftover baked potatoes and change those eggs into over medium, no runny white stuff and yep, I could kill the whole plate and wrestling Norie for the extra bacon. Thankfully I will only consume such a breakfast once or twice a year. People get skeered when they see that I can actually polish that off. LOL!

Dangit Ralph, I guess I'll go make myself some oatnut toast and maybe I will break down and fry up a couple eggs. I didn't feel like doing dishes but my stomach is winning the battle.

I'm sorry Amy.... My culinary cruelty was unintended.

Jan@ How did you do your taters?

Bacon Fest... in the news

Had my eggs, toast and I fried up a leftover baker too. All set to enjoy my little feast and the phone rang for the shop. So I give my speculative answer and said I'd confirm it when I saw drawings, ended up eating while on the phone and it never sets as well when one does that!

I have a recipe for french toast and bacon cupcakes that I have been wanting to try forever, might have to bake those on Wednesday.

Hi Jerry!

Norrie, can I have a couple of slices of the extra bacon Ralph reserved for you?

Today, new TV. UPS tracking:
Long Island City, NY, United States 02/20/2012 7:05 A.M. Out For Delivery
And a new episode of House tonight. (Although I don't know if I'll disconnect the old TV until after. Just in case.)

Tomorrow, back to Dad's.

Have a good President's Day, j0kers.

That is good news Jane. :) You can sneak some pieces, I wont tell! :)

Just use an electric skillet and turn it up as high as it will go and cook in canola oil. Use to throw in onions but, alas, age and heartburn did that in.

Sweet! I am partial to the cast iron skillet. Sometimes I do it in the oven. Especially if I am recycling some baked potatoes.

I am very bad when I fry up baked potatoes -it doesn't work so hot if you start with raw but to fry up bakers there is only one bad way to do it. Add whatever else you like, onions, peppers etc and fry them up in.......BUTTER! Which is the only way to refry up leftover roasts too.
Naughty, I know, but really it is only bad if did that on a daily basis.

Speaking of really naughty, these are the cupcakes I want to make. Not for me, gonna make up a batch to bring into work.

Hi Poeia, congrats on the TV.

:lol::lol: Ok Amy.... Keep on believing it!

I bookmarked these cause they look absolutely toxic, in a most delicious way. I may have to make up a batch myself... you know... for work. ;)
