My daughter and her family just got back a few days ago from Florida Disney. They all love it there.
The choices there are great - you can hang out at the pool and read - did a lot of that. Or go to the parks and the restaurants are tops. There were a lot of considerations made in choosing Disney as a long term vacation spot - much of which had to do with my workhours here and the fact that my job was seasonal.
They pretty much do what a seven year old wants to do.
It's really fun to watch the kids there - we usually have family there - my sister's side of the family and we've seen the first time there for each one and it's a treat. The 'wonder' of it all
Forgot to answer this yesterday. Yes. No channels without cable (or antenna) so I'll keep the cable for now. A couple of channels have a little whistling noise when I turn the volume up but most don't so I'm assuming it's the cable connection. The sound is much better than I expected.
I had it screwed onto an extra shelf with 2 little c-clamps holding that to the table in back but the shelf is too wide. The handyman will cut a couple of inches off tomorrow and there will be room for the DVD player and cable box in front of it.

Now, ready for this? One of Dad's TVs has a broken "antenna/cable in" knob thing so he needs a new set. (It's not worth fixing a tube TV.) I'd have him get mine but he doesn't need a PC in connection or the ability to play media movies from an external drive. And I think 32" is too big. Just when I thought I was done researching TVs, they pull me back in.
