Off the phone with my mom, grandma is in the hospital. They don't know what's wrong, not a stroke, heart attack, pneumonia.....or anything that it could be. She is 85, this is not good.

They were out front almost a half hour. Apparently Albuquerque has 4 on horseback most any day. They rotate thru all the neighborhoods in the city. I had to think long and hard about why they would do such a thing. But, I think it would be real good for public relations. People and kids get curious, and its a great way for the PD to get an idea what is happening in the neighborhoods. Folks open up about what is going on.
I showed my youngest right away. She is 16. After 20 minutes, they were still there. I went out and talked to them for awhile. I came back in and told my youngest that it was new equine MJ sniffing program and the horses had alerted on the house!!!!!

It is great community relations! Less an us vs them feeling. Cops are a closed group, understandable.
Very funny....dad!!! I'm not sure if that was funny or cause for concern. I'll assume the former!

DVR's rule - I've told this before but I didn't know what a Swiffer was because of VCRs and DVRs. Cousin named his dog Swiffer, "you know like a Swiffer" - I hadn't a clue. They couldn't believe it.
