Yes, driver's license here used to be instant. You take a pic and get it in 5 minutes. Now, it takes 5 days to mail to you (and that's good). We use our passports (accepted proof of who we are) to get the "new" driver's license, but we got our passports back then with our old license as proof, sooooo......what's the point???? 
Hey Zelda. Thanks for the pics BTW. I'm pretty much stuck in my house. I have to use crutches to get from room to room, and it really SUCKS! Doc says that I can't put ANY pressure on my right foot, or risk popping my heel out of place (which would require another surgery). This past Monday, the doc told me that I can't put any pressure on it until about 4 weeks after surgery ( I've got about 3 1/2 weeks to go now). Total recovery time before I can return to work is about 12 weeks from last Friday (surgery day). So.....I try to stay off of my "foot" as much as possible. Otherwise....recovery is going OK. Thanks for asking. P.S. The only way that I would stay in bed all day, is if I had one of those cowgirls here with me....My wife is at work during the day. LOL
