Good day J0kers!

Lovely granddaughter, jj! :):)

David MaCallum is 70?? Wow!
78. He'll be 79 just around the time next season starts airing. It's the type of supporting role that they can probably schedule all of his scenes for one day a week for most episodes, but it's still got to be tiring. And he's been acting for over 50 years. The Great Escape was made in 1963. (And, if he were alive, Steve McQueen would be 82.)

I saw him and Ann Jackson (his wife) doing the play Love Letters at a community theater. It must have been 15 years ago and it's the type of play where you have the script in front of you, but he was not good. His memory was obviously not in good shape.

Still, he was such a good actor in his day, it was worth seeing.

Agreed, great character actor. The Magnificent Seven wouldn't be the same without him. :thumb:

The magnificent 5 1/2. McQueen, Brynner, Coburn, Vaughan & Bronson -- absolutely. Horst Bucholz -- maybe. But I can never remember the other guy. I think his character's name was Harry (that just popped into my head. It may be wrong.) But I have no idea what his name was.

And, during the filming of The Great Escape, Charles Bronson informed a co-star that he was going to steal his wife. And he did. Which brings us back to NCIS and David McCallum (who was married to Jill Ireland.)

Nice 6 degrees!

I can't remember that guy's name either. He didn't have many scenes anyway. :?:
