I wonder if she can claim two when doing Federal taxes!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe me and DH will marry ourselves....four dependents.
I almost considered divorce to save on taxes. There IS a "marriage penalty" for working folks.
Some deduction limits are higher for singles.

Well, it doesn't matter as much anymore for retired people. We got little income and no need for deductions.
We got enough in savings to feel at ease and live without the frills.
Even got the funerals paid for so don't even have to fear leaving the kids stuck without that. Of course we aren't in any big rush to use it!!
