We got to have some work done on the garage roof. (and yes, a BIG pocket book ouch)

There is a fake ceiling in the garage and it has to come down. Along with installation.

DH did part of it and took it to the shed, but he forgot to get something out of the shed first.
So tomorrow, we go digging. If I could do some of those moves, it might save us some work!!

I would rather go to work.......

The beach stuff makes much more sense than the panda pictures for Z (although I would far, far rather look at the pandas.) Pandas mate for 1-2 days a year (with the entire mating season being a little longer.) The spend the rest of the 11+ months alone.

Just got back from helping Dad with his taxes. All organized. He kept saying "until I disorganize it again" and I kept explaining that he can't. Most of it I downloaded and put in one folder. The few things we could find in his papers, I grabbed and scanned. It doesn't matter what he loses. He'll just have to print another copy. :D

I want to be a Panda

You are so good at organizing, you want to come and help me :D:laugh:

You haven't seen my apartment. I've been "cleaning" it for 2 years. And it still looks like a tornado just swept through.

Hi Jane! You are such a good daughter!!!
Eh. He's 93 and, while his mind is still fine, his physical health is not. If I don't do it now, I'm not going to have the opportunity to do it 5 years from now. Besides, I have nothing against going to visit and just visiting, but I'd rather go and accomplish something to help him. He was resistant to weekly visits for a while ("I'm fine. You don't have to come.") but when he moved from Independent Living to Assisted Living I went a couple of times a week (except the week when I was sick) so now he's used to it.

My sister was there a week ago and sorted all the papers into tax stuff and not. Then he unsorted them. But it didn't matter because the tax stuff was for random years. I'd say "Yeah. Here's the statement from X" and it would turn out to be from 2009. Putting it on the computer makes less work for Nancy & me in the long run. When we finished with all the investment stuff (also know as IRA statements) he said that tomorrow he'd have to get his credit card statements for the year to find the medical expenses (his big tax deduction.) I said we had done it a few months ago, found the files and put them in the folder with the rest of the tax stuff. If it wasn't on the computer, tomorrow he would be calling me for help and I'd be using TeamViewer (for which I mentally thank Ralph every time my dad calls for computer help) to try to pull the info together remotely. Far better to do it once.
