Yep. I"ll be in Savannah the second week in July for a meeting, and then i do the 3 week trip to teach on on the island starting the last week in July.

Is there any light at the end of your extra busy work time?

Take me with you!!!!!!!!

Right now it's kind of up in the air until tomorrow. Was supposed to be using the new program 100% today but there are having some problems uploading the data. So who knows......I hope they got it fixed today.....haven't heard anything from my boss yet. Hoping that's a good sign.

If fixed does that mean you get your life back!

Savannah is a pretty town. I liked it there, but that was years ago.

I've never been. I sort of wanted to boycott, since Savannah passed a no smoking ordinance that included e-cigs..but then i realized that no one that I'll be with will know that ..muhahhahahahaha

You should come! especially if you actually do get your life back soon

I was there in the good ole days, before the nanny state was created. We could smoke anywhere and we never gave a second thought to lighting up.

That was ages ago, Jan. I never owned an eight track, I preferred 33 1/3 records. It was difficult to keep them from skipping when I was driving on bumpy roads.
I can imagine. My 33 1/3 records used to skip plenty just sitting in a stationary house. I can't imagine how bad they'd be in a moving car.

Ahhhhh, I have a bunch of them and the deck to play them on, stored away in my garage. Some day they will be worth money.

Records that is. I even have a few 78s. :D
We have a good used record/DVD/VCR store here. Last year I took all my records in (a few pounds at a time.) He'd sort through them and buy the ones he could sell. The condition of the cover matters and I cared about the covers but not to the point of protecting them for future resale (who knew?) but I still made a little over $200. It almost paid for the bird cages.

i am willing to see DVD and CD to be ancient history in a near future

I have to agree about Ralph. I think that this is going to be my last Sunday night on the j0ker thread, maybe my last post too. This thread has had it's day, it's time to move on.

Goodnight Lis and Jane. Take care, RM

Like it or not we are the last of the mohicans , we have to remain in here a least once a day

Sorry I didn't make it guys. Had dinner and had to go shopping w/ Bruce since I can't lift anything yet. I am kind of at his mercy w/ that.

Jerry, you have been saying that for over a year now. If you feel that strongly about it then go to your beach and stay there for pete's sake! I'll still come by and say hello to the faithful few that show up. Even if they only come once a week. This is still home.

Sorry, I don't mean to piss anyone off but we all know it's slow. Do we have to keep going on about it? If you see someone post, come by and say hi. Nobody is asking anyone to give up their new pursuits to keep this thread going. I just like to see you guys. A hi is certainly not a lot to ask for I don't think. And if you want to have the thread closed, then do it.......just quit going on about it already!

Rant over now. Again, I'm sorry but I've seen that too much now. It rather ruffled my feathers.........

Love you ALL! And that includes you Jerry!
