I don't think I would have pushed a Nautilus on a newb...too much to cover on that. Marc411 is right about age of juice...some get better with aging, also known as steeping.

If you bought the gear at a B&M (brick and mortar) store, I'd take the Nautilus back and switch it for a Kanger Protank 3. Easier to use, more consistent coils, and very good vape and flavor production. That's my opinion, and you'll find different opinions posted here soon. However...many here agree about the Nautilus.

BTW...good choice on the iTaste 134. I love how it looks. I have it's brother, the MVP V2.0

I guess I could try the tank that came with the 134 mini. You guys are scaring the crap out of me with that coil a day talk! I wouldn't have bought it had I known of that issue. My research indicated around 2 weeks.

I assume it came with the iClear30? That's a decent starter.

Ok, I have tried both tanks and they both work fine. I just had to find that sweet spot (although I'm not sure yet if I am quite there). I had to turn down the wattage a bit, restrict the airflow, and vape a little slower to get that peach taste I was expecting. It still isn't quite as strong a flavor as I was initially hoping for. I think I will see if I can try someone else's setup to compare what everyone else is getting. It's good enough to keep me off cigarettes for now though. I definitely prefer the Nautilus to the iClear 30b mainly because of air flow control. Also the tip rattles around ever so slightly in the iClear even though it is a secure fit with the o-ring.

Mark

Coil a day? Mine will actually last about 2 weeks or so. I wouldn't say I'm a heavy vaper so I'm not sure if that is why. I love my nautlius tank. Try taking a few hits with the air hole on its lowest setting. But as everyone else mentioned it could be any one of those or also vaper tongue I believe is the word. Where your taste buds are no longer able to pick up the flavour. From what I have read from this forum to fix that is to drink some water.
