Where's the flavor?

I've been vaping for 5 days now. Still smoking about a half pack a day though. But I ordered the Butterscotch and can barely taste it. Mostly what I taste is the "fog machine" taste/smell. I hope as I cut down on smoking the flavor comes out more. I have just ordered another butterscotch from another company to see if it is the same in regards to flavor and smell. It's probably just my poor taste buds being coated in tar.

Hello evry1! I'm a vaping newbie and this is my first post and my biggest complaint, my taste buds are off, when I first started vaping about 2 weeks ago I loved the taste of pralines and cream, cotton candy, all the sweet ones, now I can't taste them at all, whats up with that? I can smell them, but not really taste them kinda really ticks me off, cuz they were soooo good. I haven't smoked a stinky for almost 2 weeks, I have to admit I took a drag 2 different times to see how they tasted, 8-o nasty, like the chemicals they are made of. I had also used listerine at one point after quitting the stinkies just to help things along, and I read somewhere that listerine can screw up yer taste buds, I looked at the back of my tongue and OMD, the back buds were big and raised, so I grabbed the flashlight and inspected husbands tongue (he too is now vaping) and no his were not big, 8-o thought I had tongue cancer, so I jumped on google and found that this is also normal when the buds are irritated. So I guess my question is... anyone else having this problem? I don't know if it's from vaping flavors, quitting the stinkies or the listerine. I wake up every morning hoping they are back to normal, but it hasn't happened yet, please tell me this is not unusual and they will come back.

Wow, I just tried V4L butterscotch yesterday. I found it to be a really strong flavor. Tastes just like butterscotch hard candy. I haven't had an analog in 6 days.

That's a shame that I can't taste it. I've used most of the 5ml bottle I received. It's a good all day vape because I can't taste it. LOL

I can however taste the Marlboro carts. Strange. I wonder what flavor I'm missing from the marlboro carts that would enhance the flavor. I ended up buying a 30ml bottle of it somewhere when I ordered my 510 kit. Stupid me. Not a fan of marlboro juice. At least I have it in case I run out of other juices.

I just screwed a "Coffee" flavored cart to my PT... and it tastes like, well, warm air. Is coffee usually one of those super distinct flavors or more subtle (subjective, I know)? Thnx!

Banana cream pie was the best cartomizers I ever tasted! Smilin menthol was good and I never liked menthols. Ry4 tasted horrible to me, a week or so later i tried it again and now craving it! Give your taste buds some time.

I hated banana creme pie In fact, I hate all the flavors that have any 'cream' or anything in them except for butterscotch. which is okay but Im not a big fan. I guess its margarita for me till my liquid gets here. I'm feeling like a LOT of my prefilleds are going to be going to waste, as I just don't like the flavor. Or maybe I'm not getting far enough past the primer? *shrug* who knows. I'm sad that my red hot candy is going dry

There is no primer fluid with cartomizers. I love the taste of prefilleds even though I am big on reusing my cartomizers so I don't use them very often! I've heard other people say they prefer buying blanks and filling, so just do what works best for you.
