Early last spring after raking my lawn, I found that my green 78mm battery and carto that was in my shirt pocket had disappeared. I spent the next hour or so searching through green grass looking for a small green battery. I had almost given up when I realized where it could be. I found it after digging through a pile of dead grass in the trash can. Apparently I had dropped it and then raked it up with the grass.

my 78s have rolled off my bed and lodged between the mattress and the frame,,,,,,,,took 2 days to find that one,,,,

I just recently "lost" my 650, only to discover it exactly 24 hours later in my jacket pocket when I went to walk the dog again. It wasn't cold enough to wear the jacket until the next evening LOL

I make cards, and often use a large tub of copic markers to color images,,,,,,,

I found one of my batteries, 4 days after misplacing it, in the tub of markers,,,,,,I must have scooped up all the markers AND the battery and dumped them in the tub in a quick clean up :)

How's that 650 working for you.

This topic doesn't hit me much I sit behind a desk at my house all day so all my vaping supplies are within arms reach and when I leave my desk my PV is usually in hand however I did Leave it in the kitchen when I was cooking and spent 3 hrs looking for it

I'm always counting up the batts to make sure they are all present and accounted for. One time I searched off and on for several hours. I found it in my old coffee cup that I keep pens in. I swear I looked there before but there it was, hiding in plain sight. I finally put an old coffee cup in each room to set my PV's in so that I don't leave them laying anywhere but I still have to gather them all back up once or twice a day.

I have roll call before bedtime so that I know they are all up and out of harm's way. Especially since my little dog like metal and I worry that she will try out a battery sometime instead of a bobby pen or a nail or screw:) You can always tell when she has something she isn't supposed to by the way she is delicately holding on to it and licking and licking and licking. "Whatta you got, Penny?" "Such a bad doggie." "Give it to me." Say it in a gentle voice.

I probably shouldn't post here because I NEVER loose track of my precious X2's. I keep them nestled securely in my XL case and make sure that I rotate each day so that I don't overuse any particular one. Before charging, I'll inspect and carefully clean the threads, even checking the outside for fingerprints. The X2 that I'm using is ALWAYS in the lanyard around my neck. If I'm working washing dishes or cooking, I tuck it inside my shirt so water won't splash on it.

Since my collection of X2's is growing, I will get another XL case to safely keep those in as well.

I know.... crazy... Right!!

I've been vaping for just over 3 years, so I've lost more than one battery. I had one fall through a small tear in the lining of a purse. I went nuts trying to find it -- I was sure that's where I had put it. I found it about 3 months later when I discovered the tear.

Another time one got scooped up with my pens from the desk.

Another time one got swallowed up by a car seat. I had put it on the seat right beside me (while I was driving), went to reach for it and it was gone. I had to pull over to the side of the road to get another one out of my purse, which, I might add, I did NOT lay down again. Later that day it took me over 30 minutes to retrieve the one that had slipped between the back and bottom part of the car seat.

I had one disappear from the table on my back porch. I think one of the neighborhood cats probably stole it. They were always playing with anything we left laying around in the backyard. I never recovered that one.

I found one in the refrigerator once. I must have placed it there when getting something out of the fridge, not sure.

I lose my batteries almost as often as my car keys, LOL. I do get distracted. I can usually retrace my steps through the house to find them, though.
