Which battery & charger for lavatube?

I have a lavatube that I bought on the classys.. It works great! And I love it, but since it IS used I have no idea how old the batteries are. I want to buy an extra set of batteries but I see the 18650s come in many different varieties. Which ones should I get?? 1600mah? 2000mah? 3000mah?? My noob colors are showing again!!

For boosted voltage you need an AW IMR High-drain battery.

Make sure you stay away from protected batteries since it has inline circuit protection. They will work, but you will have to keep the voltage set under 3.7 - 4.0. +1 for the AW

As for a charger, make sure it is rated for Lithium batteries.

DW's recommendation is good.
On the XTAR WP2 II, you can set the switch to "2" for larger batteries like the big 18650, that's 1000 mA (1 amp) max current. Just make sure to change the setting back to "1" (500 mA max) if you use it for smaller, sub-1000 mAh, batteries.

If you don't mind the wait keep it at the 500ma setting, gentler charging equals longer Battery life.

1A is fairly gentle when dealing with a 2A-h battery (1/2C)
(18650 capacities are an eye-opener, coming from 16340s )
