Depends on the regulated mod, the power range you're running it at, and the resistance of your atomizer.

A 20A battery is more than enough for any 30W mod, but if you're running a .1ohm or less atomizer on a 150W mod with anything less than a 30A battery you're playing with fire.

Currently i really enjoy vtc4 i haven't tried the LGs yet but they're in the mail. I have used purple efest 18500s on my atlantis and they worked well enough to produce a decent cloud with really good flavor but ever since i tried the vtc4 i was hooked on 30A. I am interested to see how the LGs do.

I'll be posting my test results of the HE4 today or tomorrow.

Mine should arrive tomorrow but it could be Wednesday. I live on a small island on the east coast of Canada, our local shop sucks and is run by 2 guys who dont know what they're doing so i order all my stuff from a great place with staff i trust that are off island.

Looking forward to seeing your results. Will you be posting them in this thread or elsewhere. Please let me know! Thanks

VTC 5, VTC4, LGHE4, or SAMSUNG 25R 18650 battery should I get? I want long lasting, quality batteries. Which would best suit a regulated mod?
Tbh, all 4 of those batteries you listed are great batteries. the LGHE4s handle heat a bit better than the other cells but the sonys have one of the highest pulse ratings along with the 25Rs. Orbtronic SX30s are quite good too, if i were to suggest another brand. LG has a new battery out called the LGHB6, it's only 1600mah but handles heat the best it's also another true 30a battery.

I have not, I havent noticed the output or amperage any lower from age though. The charge doesnt last as long as it did when they were new but these batteries were champs for what I paid.
For that price, you could get a vtc4 or vtc5. I'd still like to check out tests though, if I can find it online.

I post the results in the APV Discussion/Batteries and Chargers section. Or, you can check my blog as I link to all of the testing threads there.
