Which carto tank???

In relation to my other post, I've been reading up on tanks. And I'm still unsure of which to get. Been imposing on a friendly veteran in here, but think I've disturbed him long enough. Hope other vets here can lend a hand.

I see tanks which have locking rings and some without. Some with grooves for flanged cartos, some without. Then there's a UDCT by smoktec where it locks the cartos in place. It's really confusing. I don't have the good fortune of being able to go to a shop/vendor to have a feel of what I'm buying. I solely depend on info I can get online, cross my fingers... And click the order button.

Im just looking for something basic, works well and doesn't burn my pocket. So some basic carto tanks and cartos which I can buy in bulk would suit me just fine.

Oh.... And I plan to use carto tanks on a VV pv. Probably a Vamo. So I'm looking for the 4.5ml Smoktec tanks... Fatter diameter to suit the pv while keeping length to a minimum.

IBtanked sells 19mm and 25mm Pyrex tanks for cheap. Pick your tank, pick your end caps and order. Cartos from surevapes have never done me wrong.

When I was shopping for carto tanks, one of the features that I wanted was something that was easy to fill. I ended up with some Valley View Vapes tanks that have a fill hole and a silicone plug. They carry them in both plastic and pyrex.

First off, is that SmokeTek, or smokeTech? I hace a locking DCT tank from SmokeTek, and like it, but it's not absolutely necessary to have a locking tank. They will prevent a carto from spinning though. You have to use flanged carto's for it to work as designed.

If you use any juice that is known to crack tanks, I would suggest getting a metal tank, or a glass tank. With a metal tank, you can't see the juice level.

I have a IBTanked (pyrex), and really like it because I love citrus juices. When first installing a new carto, or refilling the tank, I notice the carto will spin somewhat, but after letting it sit for a few minutes, it will grip the "O" rings and is very tight.
