I tried using this on a P16, but because the threads screw down into the device air flow sucks. I need to turn it a quarter turn to a half turn counter-clockwise to get a good drag. I tried it on my V3 and it seemed better. What's everyone else using? Is the sapphire flush with the device when screwed on all the way?

I use Ego batteries I got with an Ego-T kit, and the Piper passthru. The Sapphires screw down flush on all of them.
The hole lines up slightly off from one of the slots, so no. I can line it up so that I see it, but it doesn't change the draw. My Egos have 4 slots.
On my egos and @ 3,7 on my infinity with an extender. For air flow on any PV an extender is always a best friend. IMO 
What's funny is CE2's work fine on my P16, screwed down all the way. Maybe it's because they have 2 air holes in the bottom; but they can also leak.
The V3 works well with the sapphires because even screwed in all the way there is still a visible gap where you can see the air holes. Of course the whole reason I got a P!6 was to have a smaller PV, the V3 is big enough as it is.

Just fitted a recently arrived Sapphire to my E-Power 14650 - taste isn't quite there yet but the vapor and draw are great!
we will work on getting it more universal but we cant use 2 holes, it will not wick with holes, 1 hole is the secret ingredient. we will look into a new connector so this issue is non existant but this will take some time. I do stress that they dont consider this a issue as they do design the atomizers to work with their devices but are now aware what we need for the world and not just the batteries they produce.

if you need to get more airflow for a particular pv you can try adding an air grove to the sapphire itself like i did here:

i use mine on all ego devices and my provari and stick style 510's, instead of notches on ones that need it ive been using a sample super mini 510 extender the factory sent, they should be here soon for everyone to check out.
that sounds like a great idea and prolly provides better airflow than my lil modification lol
oh boy these sapphire(fits on any ego and works with more then sapphire) covers look pretty
