I did a search and 2 unrelated topics came up so I started a new one. I figured this debate had to have happened before

In your defense, I can see that you just joined not long ago. This has been debated countless times and usually winds up with a closed thread. I honestly use a bit of both. Nowadays the vast majority of my mods are authentic, and I still have a mix of atties. I stick to mods that I think are reasonably priced, or that I get a great deal on. Just picked up an authentic and brand new Penny for less than $100. I think that's an acceptable price, but I wouldn't pay the $200 msrp.

If funds allowed me to purchase authentics, I would with no problem. But I don't like eating ramen noodles and water for a month straight. Only authentic I have is a Provari mini. Everything else in my cabinet are clones.

I only buy authentics. Then I go and hang out with other vapers, flaunting my authentic to clone users as a symbol of my status and success which not only boosts my ego, but also adds another thin layer to the veneer if my vanity, self satisfaction and self worth. The taste of them being degraded and shamed for not buying the real thing is delicious, contrasted only by the bitterness of their tears as they go home with their "clones." The fact that I have a Victorian style black velvet cape only adds to my superiority.

That all seems like too much trouble, ... so I cloned your sense of self satisfaction, and now I'm enjoying that.

i like your style.
i on the other hand buy the cheapest clone i can and go around passing
it off as authentic. the pathetic noobs around here haven't a clue.
the oohhs and aahhs and looks of admiration are what makes my
day to day existence sheer joy.
i like the black cape deal.
i think i will make mine blue. if you don'y mind that is.
