Hello,
Im very new to the forum and would like to start off by saying hi and that i appreciate the time of your day to hep me. So over the course of 6 years i have been smoking cig's I have occasionally dipped into the e-cigs here and there mainly using the Fatty (ego) and have also tried the cheap gas station models. Unfortunately for me those 2 types have not really been enjoyable hence me returning to regular smokes. But my intrest was resparked when i seen a good friend of mine at work that had a e-cig that was rather large with a adjustable voltage battery a liquid tank that directly fed the wick on the atomizer. Now i liked that model due to not having to constantly drip and the variable voltage so i can find the prefect vape.

So here is my question. Im looking for a e cig that as long battery life and variable battery with the same kind of setup.. However I want a e-cig that feels the most like a real smoke. not like the ones that i tried where the first 2 hits felt good but after that it felt like i was toking on a empty pipe. Im looking for the easiest setup with the most rewarding vape. if that makes sense. money allthough is an issue, but if its a worthy setup im willing to spend the extra green.

So let me know your guys/gals opinions on the best vape, easiest mainltanence, and long battery life. It does not have to be "real looking" or small nothing let me know what you guys like.

thanks again for your time and i appreciate your oppinions

As far as VV, the best mod out there is probably the provari but it also comes with a hefty price tag (about $200+ for a whole setup). If you want to go cheaper, get a Lavatube (original from Volcano or "knockoff's" from multiple vendors such as myfreedomsmokes.com (Lambo Variable Voltage Mod (Upgraded Bomber) Starter Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com)... I own 2 original Lavatubes, one black and one in nice, shiny chrome, and I LOVE them. Using a Phiniac Pyrex tank with it (well, actually I have 5 of them puppies.. LOL!) What I'd probably recommend is an Apollo VTube (code: vtube30) which is a decent VV unit at a good price. Much of the success vs failure in vaping isn't the battery - it's the juice delivery system. Good cartomizers and/or good clearomizers both work well and deliver a consistent vape. I don't drip other than to test new juices as I like simplicity. For cartos, I use Resurrectors from CCV and for clearomizers I use CE3 and CE4+, both from Discountvapers. I have a VTube (2 actually), an EPower, and I carry a smallish eGo to work everyday. All of them use the same cartos/clearomizers. As far as real tanks go - I have no idea as I haven't traveled that road...

I use the ProVari with Vivi Nova (v2 mostly) tanks and have yet to find anything that compares.

The Lavatube is the next that comes to mind going the less expensive route. The ego twist is one that looks pretty affordable and I've heard good things about it.

I can't speak highly enough about the Vivi Nova tanks though. This is where all the action happens. Any decent VV PV should be able to drive this gift to the vaping world and be worlds different than that gas station crap for sure. If you go this route (and can find them right now), you might do yourself a favor by getting a cheap meter to measure the actual resistance of each head as they seem to vary quite a bit. I have one 2.4ohm head that actually measures 3.0. If you go the ProVari route, you can skip the meter as it has that functionality built in.

I'm sure there will be many more along soon with much more expertise than I to help as well.

Good luck with your decision.

I would recommend 2 ego twists with the utilizing a 3.5ml dual coil tank system. Starting out I would ensure the eliquid was somewhere around 80-90% PG to ensure it goes into the little hole supplied in the carto. From there I am sure you will move on to something else as you progress through this wonderful journey.

Thanks guys for all the great opinions. The PV i think i might hold off on due to the price tag.. i looks sexy but im pretty sure my wife would burry me alive in a casket and not think twice lol. However the Lava tube looks really nice to me and the price is just right. I dont have the ego anymore for those who are telling me to get the mega tank atomizer. So it wouldnt be cost effective. I want the VV battery to be able to adjust to my liking the throat hit/vapor recieved. Since the other models havent provided that for me. That apollo looks nice as well and those cartomizers were EXACTLY what i was looking for. Hoewever after a few you tube reviews i think im going to try the VIVI due to the high rated reviews im constanly watching.. so here is what im looking at purchasing the

and
Vivi Nova Tank Clearomizer (Exchangeable & Detachable)

On a side note.. what is a good liquid that i should look into?..

Good choice, IMO! Of course, I'll get stoned because people don't like the original Lavatube cuz it has an amp limit that's lower than the 'New" knock-offs, but I have 2 of them and I love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, volcano gives you a 1 year warranty, if ANYTHING goes wrong with it, they WILL exchange it without problems, they'll even pay return shipping. :)

Good juice? www.momanpopvaporshop.com (if you like sweets, try the Pchela's Famous Five Layer and some Butterfly Bait. It is delicious! Kickbassvapor, vapedudes and Myfreedomsmokes are also on my "regulars" list. :)

Don't get that Lavatube. For $100, It is a total Rip-off.

You can get the same Lavatube kit for $50 with code Vtube30 here:
Apollo VTube Kit

The only difference is a slightly better ($10) charger and a more cushiony case.
Each vendor has his own name for it and these two are the exact same thing. For just $10 more, you can get it in Chrome or for $23 more Stainless Steel.

For $100, you can get a Stainless Steel one AND a new upgraded charger.
Plus, free shipping and a one year warranty.

Apollo is a great vendor and if you don't like it, send it back within 30 days and get a refund.

There's no excuse for Volcano to be charging $100 for a V1 Lavatube. That's mall mentality.

No, you'll get stoned because you're recommending that the OP pay double what that Lavatube is going for. The EXACT SAME L-Rider Lavatube, with the Same One Year Warranty from a Reputable Vendor with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

Awesome tyvm i got the lava tube on order 2-day fedex. and im having trouble ordering the vivi nova.. its sold out at a lot of places. and those e liquid sites are now saved to my fav's ;-) thanks again.

Try Surevapes.com if you haven't already.

Too bad about that Lavatube gouge you just took. Apollo shipped free to me from CA to FL and it took 3 days. Well, Volcaon has to pay for those mall kiosks somehow.

And.... now i read his post tooo late hahaha.. woops.. i guess i just ate a bullet.. well dang lol

Since you took a beating on the Lavatube, you might as well get a good deal on a second battery. You need 2 batteries, not just one. Go to Orbtronic.com. Look for the Panasonic 2250mah CGR18650CH. It's the best battery on earth for the Lavatube and miles better than the one that comes with it or the over-hyped AW battery. It's only $8 shipped. At least you can get one decent deal today.
