okay well now I know the 510 and ego are very popular. But on the other hand has anyone know anyhting about v2cigs.com? Like I said before they seem pretty good and alot of great reviews plus good prices on cartridges.

Be careful with believing the "great reviews" you find on the web for certain e-cig products. Many of the e-cig companies will have all kinds of reviews and ads all over the web, promoting their inferior products by the owner or their own employees, pretending to be "happy" customers.

Well I started with a 510 and it is a great e-cig, however, for someone that smokes a pack or more a day of cigarettes, it can be a let down because having to constantly charge a battery every 2 - 3 hours. Now I love the Ego *just picked one up from Lost Coast Vaperz* and I dont regret it. Considering dealing with extra stress last weekend, I started smoking 2 packs a day and went back to 1x pack after 3 days but Thursday I bought my final pack and bought the riva ego *each battery lasts 8 - 10 hours* and I have not picked up a pack of cigarettes since.

I also picked up an eGo and 510 from Lost Coast Vaperz last Thursday. What is your opinion of their service?
I find them very nice and very convenient.

Exactly what she said. Almost ALL "review" sites are simply affiliate sites. They get paid if you purchase something. The links provided are there for a reason. Once you click it, your IP is stored by the seller... If you ever buy anything from them, the site gets paid. The one and only reason those sites exist...

I just started vaping myself so I'll just add my .02.

I ended up getting a Vapor4Life KR808D-1 Kit with 2 Batteries and about 10 carts to start off. I don't have anything else to reference since I am so new to the game but I have to say that I do like the 808. It's simple in nature, charge a batt, screw on a cart and go. No worry about flavors mixing in your atomizer or anything. They are easy to refill and 2 carts last me all day.

When I started vaping it was to finally get off the coffin nails after 16 years. I'm happy to say that I have gone from over a pack a day to 4-6 analogs a day in a less than a weeks time, and with people like MistressNomad and TheBuss, I have learned more in a couple hours than I did in many days research before finding this site. I'm already looking into the DIY kits and getting ready to mix up some flavors for myself on the cheap.

With all the resources available on this site just do some looking around and make a decision based on what you like. I thought the 2 part system would be easier for a newb like myself but a 3 might be a better choice for you.

The best e cig is the one that gets you off analogs. Mine was a mini dse901. Then It was the Screwdriver MKII. Now once my batteries get here it will be the Silver bullet.

It is an individule thing for everyone. You will most likely get a few different ones for different situations. Like now I am looking at a juice box for when I am driving. Just makes vaping while driving easier.

why is the vape stack better the roughstack has a user replaceable switch and a bigger battery

the roughstack uses a odd battery size that's inferior....not really capable of running any atty you throw at it without overstressing the battery, damaging it, and experiencing voltage sag

the vapestack uses a battery that while smaller in mAh has a high drain available in that size that will outperform the other as far as longevity and being able to deliver the voltage nessicary...
there's a LOT more to batteries than just mAh

Research youtube.com videos that will help educate you. It's all about atleast getting a 650 mah battery or higher so you don't have to worry about repeatedly chargine. Getting a kit with two ecigs so while your charging one you can use the other. And just as important is getting a manual button on ecig or you can't safely use liquid it will leak into battery.

650 or higher mah battery
2 ecigs in kit with charger
manual button you push in to inhale. Can then use eliquid, which is half the price and you can pick and make your own flavors and nicotine level.

The above is important if you want to quit. I bought the regular Tornado kit from Totally wicked and love it. It is also called the Ego. I then bought along with kit 50mls of polyprolene glycol and 30mls of nicotine liquid.

I quit from the getgo after charging the ecig. Put one of the ten cartriges that they sent in Tobacco Flavor and wow, I was getting plenty of nicotine and have now not smoked one analog cigarette in two weeks today.

After 38 years of smoking. Geez... I feel so much better.

Get a powerful enough battery and a manual button. Two ecigs in kit with charger. Educate yourself on youtube and sites like ECG. As long as you start at 18 mgs or higher, you should have no need to reach for a cigarette.

I know this sounds kookoo right now, but you may find that if you get a device that performs very well, you won't care so much that it feels like a real cig. You enjoy it for what it is. May not be the case. I never thought I would feel that way, but I'll be darned, I do.

I could not agree with this more. StarsAndBars hit the nail on the head. I bought a Blu specifically because it is the same size and shape as a real cig, it has a charger pack that felt like a real pack of smokes. So to me the whole thing was about simply changing "brands" instead of quitting smoking.

When I realized the Blu wasnt going to work and my KR808 just wasnt producing like I needed ( I bought both with the intention of sending one back before the 30 day guarantee ran out but ended up keeping them both ) I looked at the 510. I love my 510 but I avoided the eGo because it wasn't "cigarette-like" That was a mistake on my part. I still use my 510 sometimes, but my eGo is my PV of choice now.

Next up...some sort of box mod with a juice bottle.
