Which eGo part is this?

Hi all,

New to vaping, just got a joye ego.

there is one part of my kit that is a mystery to me. Can someone tell me what it is? Its cylindrical, smaller than a cartridge, tapered on one end. it has a series of numbers and letters printed on one the rim of one end. Sorry I can't include a pic at the moment.'

Is it the cone that fits over the atty? Only 4 parts, cartridge, cone battery, and atty.

Don't suppose there'd be any way that you could take a pic of it with your sell and upload it that way? Email it to yourself and them put it on a photobucket for example.

Oh, maybe. I thought the "cone" was the larger piece, with threads, that screwed on just beneath the button...but maybe that is the "cover"? Anyway, when I pop this mystery piece (cone?) in, it goes where the cartridge would go, thereby eliminating the possibility of inserting a cartridge. So, whats it for?

Ok I am stumped without a photo. Almost sounds like the atty. Smaller than the cart? Does it have threads?

Probably from liberty flights.

They use heavens gifts drip tips.

Ok, button is on the battery, next put the atty on that, put the cartridge on after, now does the wide part of the cone screw or push on and cover the atty and most of the mouthpiece? If so, its the cone, if not, try to post a pic. I heard some come with a battery cover to keep it from accidentally turning on, but I don't think that's what you're describing. See if the above works. Is there a picture of it on the site you ordered from, maybe a link would help.

Yes, you put it where the cartridge would go. It is called a drip tip. You just drip 2 or three drops onto the exposed bridge and vape. That way you don't have to keep taking a cartridge cover off and on. It's called dripping. Hope you enjoy your new kit. Welcome to ECF.

Yes! this must be it, because the lettering is HGDT0510...D, actually. Wow, thanks so much for everyone jumping in on this one!!! I was just trying to email a pic to myself per the suggestion above, but then noticed this post.
I bought it from frredomsmokeusa, though, and neither the stock pic or description on that site mention it, so i was really scratching my noobie head!

That leads to another question...I've actually been doing a drip method, but not using this thing. I simply keep an empty cartridge on there and remove it whenever i need to add drops right on the atomizer. Is that an ok method? How do i use this "drip tip" instead? Seems like you might put the nipple of nic juice in the drip tip hole and administer a few drops that way?
