For someone just getting started, the standard 510 (that's the type of connection between the battery and the atty or carto) look the most like a cigarette, but the batteries are only good for an hour or so per charge. The KR808 is also popular and lots of options for those as well.

If looks aren't the most important, a slight increase in the diameter like the Riva or Ego (also 510 connection) will give you 4-6 hours per charge. The Go-Go is excellent if you want "fiddle free" vaping, but its threads are proprietary (don't work with anything else). Its battery is good for 12-24 hours, and it holds 3ml of juice (about what the average person vapes in a day)

Any of those are a good place to start, but read up on them and ask LOTS of questions, it can save you money in the long run and folks here are happy to help. There's lots of other "good" ones, but a lot depends on your preferences, budget, etc.

A lot depends on how much and how long you smoked and how much you're willing to spend.

If you want something that resembles a cigarette and don't mind frequent battery changes, go with a two piece KR808 or 510. Spend a little more and get a reputable brand that's easier to purchase additional parts for.

If you want something with longer battery life but is fatter than a cigarette, go with an ego.

In my opinion the best ecigarettes
- use one of the most popular threadings which would be 510 for 3-pieces or KR808D-1 for 2-pieces
- have manual batteries available
- have a PCC that works with manual batteries
- are most supported for new styles of blank cartomizers
- have many adapters available
- have compatible fat battery models available

Just choose what you think is right for you out of the 510 lines (or any mod using 510 threading) or KR808D-1 lines

I think an ego is a good start! then you can decide what options on ecigs you like and don't I started with an ego and have had it for a few months..I've tried cartos, carts, direct dripping and found pros and cons from all. DD does give the best hits and flavor IMO. I'm looking into a bottom feeder now...I hate fiddling with bottles, foam, syringes, and napkins!

Good Luck and Happy Vaping!!
