What design flaw are you talking about?

The kayfun series is a classic certainly, but if for a design flaw I find refilling it to be a pain:
Kayfun 3.1: it has a 90 degree angle problem with the refill hole; they tried to put it on the side but from below, and as a result there's a right angle bend you have to get past in order to refill; that's why the kayfun lite and many other tanks put the fill hole under the tank, which has it's own problem in that you then have to take the tank off the mod in order to refill; the lemo makes an improvement in that part by not having to take the whole tank off.

With the Kayfun 3.1 there is always the easy method of refilling.

Take the top off, fill the tank, put the top back on but only turn it 1 revolution. Then place your finger over the air hole, turn the tank upside-down, and tighten the top. Turn it back over and take your finger off the hole.

It only takes a few seconds, you can fill the tank with any bottle tip, and you don't have to remove the tank from the mod.

lol: "easy method": that's 5 steps!! I never bothered with step 3a; and step 4 should be up at the top step 1.

I plan to drill a fill hole in the lower steel tank ring and fit a fill scew there at the side; hopefully I can find a suitable knurledheaded bolt/screw that would work so that I won't need a screwdriver to refill; (come to think of it, one of those adjustment screws that come with nemesis or chiyou topcaps might be perfect with a rubber seal.)

Then all I'd have to do is
- turn tank upside down,
- unscrew the fill bolt with fingers
- fill with needlebottle
- screw in the bolt

actually I'm probably going to do that with my 30mm kayfun lite because I don't have a glass option for that one, whereas my k3.1 I have set up with the glass tank, so I can't put the side hole on the glass in that case.
